Tata DoCoMo Introduces Voice Free Recharge in Andhra Pradesh

Tata DOCOMO the GSM mobile service brand of Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) today announced another first in telecom “Voice free” for its prepaidcustomers  in Andhra Pradesh telecom circle.

The Voice Free Recharge voucher allows customers to make FREE calls (local and STD), subject to a fair usage policy, to any network in India. Only GPRS Data usage shall be charged. This is a continuation of the sequence of innovative offers from Tata DoCoMo starting with the “Pay Per Sec” to “Buddy Net”, “Daily Plans” and “My Song” along with a host of many more offers.

The Voice Free Recharge vouchers are available in three denominations of Rs. 200, Rs. 350 and Rs. 500, with a validity of 10 days, 20 days & 30 days respectively.

GPRS surfing will be charged at 1 Paise per 1 KB. Under the Fair usage policy, prepay subscribers will be able to use 2400 Seconds per day to make free local and STD calls till their validity period.

Speaking at the occasion Mr. NV Subbarao, Regional Head, South-East, Tata DOCOMO said, “The new Voucher has been introduced, keeping in mind the various usage needs of our customers especially the student segment and customers in the age group of 18-24 who are heavy ‘Mobile Internet’ users. By offering free 2400 seconds usage daily, frees them from the voice tariff rates and gives customers freedom to utilize talktime for data usage. This is a unique way to increase adoption of internet at the same timeoffering value based voice free offer. The Voice free is easily available, at all TATA DOCOMO outlets or online.

How to activate?

Activation : Just go to your nearest retailer and get a SPECIAL EVD recharge of Rs.15 and Rs.95 on your number.


 GPRS Settings : Just SMS internet to 52270 and save the settings as default on your mobile. Then log on to the internet browser of the handset and go to settings option and select “DOCOMO internet” APN(Access Point Name) to avail benefits of these pack.


These packs are available in Tata DOCOMO Home network only. Default tariff of 10p/10kb will be charged in case of roaming.
